Discovering the ruins of Aquincum, the ancient Roman city has been the greatest archaeological exploration in Hungary. With over 700 excavations so far, large-scale constructions are still being put on hold for discoveries of some ancient ruins. It’s not uncommon either that you just walk through a 2000-year-old piece of wall built in a modern office block.
