Why locals love it
Chacarita cemetery is epic. I thought Recoleta was huge but this place is off the charts. Wondering round a cemetery may not be everyone's cup of tea but this place is seriously fascinating and makes for some stunning photography shots.
Why you should visit it
If you're a fan of history and are interested in visiting the resting place of some of Argentina's most famous figures then you should definitely check this place out. The endless streets (yes, streets) of enormous gothic structures will take your breath away.
Special tip
Be careful not to have valuables on show when walking around the surrounding area as it's not the safest part of BA (but also not the most dangerous).
