Why locals love it
I was first introduced to Doppledanger by a friend and won't forget it. What was supposed to be an innocent cocktail led to at least three more and us dancing into the wee small hours. It appeared the owner was a bit of a pro as he served us his winning cocktail and we took over on the ipod shuffle. Good times.
Why you should visit it
This is the sort of place anything could happen and the cocktails are probably up there with some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted. Not only that, there's no pretense in this place - it's humble surroundings and friendly staff really make it.
Special tip
Sit up at the bar and let the bartender whizz you up a cocktail to your liking.
