El Rosedal
Why locals love it
Come Spring (October-December) and throughout Summer, the beautiful El Rosedal is filled with roses of every kind and it's a special place to visit when you're in the city. Surrounding the garden is a lake with paddles boats and locals sipping 'mate'.

Why you should visit it
The gardens are beautiful and after all the sightseeing you'll be glad of somewhere you can just enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. It's also where all the trendy locals hang out at the weekend so it's a great place for people watching - just watch out for the roller bladers!
Special tip
You can hire roller blades and rent out a paddle boat if you're feeling active. Food vendors with churros, ice cream and hotdogs will feed you.
