Puerto de Frutos13
Why locals love it
As the name suggests, "Puerto de Frutos" was once a stopping place for fruits making their way to the capital.
Today, the fruit is gone and in its place are vendors selling souvenirs, restored furniture and places to find a meaty steak, tasty choripan and/or delicious churros.

Why you should visit it
This is a great place to stock up on more reasonable souvenirs and ensure you get your quota of red meat and other delicious Argentine favourites. Tigre is quite a sleepy place so its nice to take a detour here if you're wanting to see beyond the river and houses on stilts.
