the one I’m researching started as the Viviani-Rossi family according to one source, then it says it was actually the C.A. Cranwell tomb. And the other pages say it was Eduardo Orfali who built the tomb. The statue is of a mother and child. Who are they? Who can tell me?

In the past it was said that they were a female member of Viviani family and his baby, both dead during the childbirth. But some years ago an old photograph was found showing that this tomb originally belonged to C.A. Cranwell. That´s all I know!

¨Hello C, if you are in B.A., free guided tours for Recoleta`s cemetery are offered, surely they can answer your question. There are some recognized historians maybe they can help you as well: Eduardo Lazzari (see his page) or Daniel Balmaceda ( Twitter @d_balmaceda). Good Luck!
