Saturday, November 10 will be our 10th anniversary. As most tourists, we are hoping for an authentic experience. More important is a smaller place, no busloads of tourists, ok if menu is in Spanish, and not super huge portions (it is hard to be romantic after a big meal:) Of course we want the food to be good too!

There is no doubt...the best option is La Parrilla del Pobre Luis

A nice and romantic place can be La Parolaccia. It is not a "parrilla" but you will find there different food types including meat or fish. As you can see in the name, mostly is italian food. But it is combined with some argentinian touches.

You will be recieved with a glass of champagne or a Bellini. Pasta and Meat are great. Deserts are from heaven, and when you are ready to leave, they will offer a lemoncello.
There are different restaurants, my favourite are Parolaccia Dolce and the one in Livertador Avenue in San Isidro.

Hope you have a great experience in Buenos Aires.
I want you to know that some times tiny places are better than big ones.

Hi Roslyn!
One of the nicest and more romantic (and cool) Parrilla that I know is in "Las Cañitas" neighborhood, and is called "Novecento". This is it

Enjoy it!

Hi Roslyn! there is no "romantic parrillas"... the best place for meat in buenos aires is Cabaña Las Lilas, in Puerto Madero, you can reserve a table outside with view to the river, and you can make it romantic...
I like Elena very much, my husband took me there for our anniversary, its beautiful, food is excellent. Its inside the Four Season Hotel.
A nice, small restaurant is La Pecora Nera, italian food..more intimate.
The three of them are quite expensive, but they worth it. I hope you have a good time in BA!

Most people will say La Cabrera, but like a local ambassador and hardcore attendant I must say Don Julio.

La Brigada Restaurant is a great choice in the neighbourhood of La Boca or La Cabrera in Palermo.

La Cabrera" it's a really good place to go. Great meat, good prices, frequented by locals, portions are Big but the asado is for share whit the loved ones. Address: José Antonio Cabrera 5099 (Palermo).

Another place is Dandy, great food, good drinks, smaller portions, frequented by locals and is a little more trendy (great ambientation).
