Description

In this tour you will visit the Town of San Antonio de Areco, where you will become acquainted with a Pulpería (a typical establishment in South America where the main provisions were sold). You will get to see how a craft chocolate shop works and learn the history of the town before you reach the Estancia.

Argentina is well known for its vast farmlands. Since the country´s formal organization as a national entity in the second half of the 19th century, it followed an agricultural and livestock export model of development with a large concentration of crops in the fertile Pampas. It is largely limited to stock-raising activities and centered on the export of cattle hides and wool.

Once there you can take rides on the horses or go for a ride in a sulky (2-wheeled cart) while enjoying a buffet of traditional cold cuts, cheeses and beverages.

At lunchtime the group will enjoy a typical country-style barbecue prepared using only the finest quality meats. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

This whole package will give you an outlook on the Argentinian countryside and its history.

Great Introductory Tour of BA
Thank you so much to Florence and Guillermo for a wonderful tour of Buenos Aires! It touched on several main points of interest in Buenos Aires, and Florence was so knowledgeable and personable. This is a great tour to do when you first arrive to the city, so you know what you want to go back and explore in more depth!
We thought it was really good.
Claudia gave us a lot of information, new a lot about the general history of the city, and was able to share her own experience of being Jewish in the city. Good tour!
The best guide we ever had
Claudia took us on a three-hour Jewish heritage tour in Buenos Aires. Not only that she was a very pleasant and sympathetic person, she was extremely knowledgeable and systematic in her way of running the tour. We learned a lot - also with regards to general history of Argentina and would definitely count this tour to the highlights of our BA stay.
The only thing we regretted was that since it was our last day in BA we could not book Claudia for further tours (since we then found out she also offers coty and art tours). We will make sure we do it when back in BA one day.
