Why locals love it
Victoria Brown was one of the first places I discovered in Buenos Aires. Thanks to a friend with very good taste and a beady eye, we spoiled ourselves one night with the bar's opulent setting and delicious cocktails.
Why you should visit it
Sometimes you just need to treat yourself when you're on the road and particularly if you're on holiday. Victoria Brown may not seem like much from the outside but the almost hidden doorway as you enter will take through to another side to the bar, where bar tenders are waiting to serve you one of the best cocktails I've had so far in the city.
Special tip
On a weekend it's worth calling in advance to reserve a table. The setting is intimate so definitely somewhere to impress someone special.
