Why locals love it

Don't let the unassuming exterior turn you off, Chili Club opened its 17th Avenue location in 2006 and brings authentic flavour and tastes. The dining room is the perfect settings for a get together with friends, special occasions or private functions.

Locals love it because it offers an intimate setting with fresh, often spicy, Thai flavors.

Why you should visit it

Although the restaurant is a bit outside the main downtown core, it's an easy train or bus ride up 17th Avenue. It's a small restaurant so reservations are recommended but not required. On a snowy day nothing beats a warm and spicy dish so this is a great spot to cozy up in the cold winter!

Special tip

The Sya Rong Hai (Crying Tiger) is spicy and delectable. If you order takeout, the pickup spot is actually around the corner (on 37th Ave).

The food is delicious and the takeout is FAST. Everything here is hot and fresh with delicious spice. The prices are a little high for the portion size (main dishes are around $15 and serve 1-2 people) but the food is really great so it's worth it.
