Why locals love it
The museum is housed in a church of a 16th-century Frangiscan monastery. The exhibition is divided into two large units: the eastern wing displays findings from the Neolithic to late Minoan period, and the western wing, findings from the Geometric period to Roman times.

Why you should visit it
Clay tablets of the early scripts, that of Linear A and Linear B, Minoan sarcophagi, as well as the clay seal, known as the "master's impression" are some of the highlights. Ticket: General admission fee: 4€, Reduced fee: 2 €
