It's a tiny, hard to find beach with crystal clear water. It has not been so popular in the past. Please love it as much as I do and take good care of it while you are there. Keep in mind that there is nothing there, so you have to climb up along with your garbage and leave the place as you found it.

Samaria Gorge

Samaria Gorge is one of the world's Biosphere Reserves of unique natural beauty separating the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) and Mt Volakias. It is a 16 km long hike, starting at an altitude of 1,250 m at the northern entrance, and ending at the shores of the Libyan Sea in Agia Roumeli. Open from May 1st till October 15th.

The view from the Venizelos Tombs is stunning, you can see all of Chania. Great place to watch the sunset, have a nice walk in the area and take some panoramic photos. There is also a small orthodox church in the park.

Firka Fortress

The fortress Revellino del Porto on the northwest side of the port of Chania was constructed between 1610 and 1645 to protect the Venetian harbour entrance from raiders. It is the place where the Greek flag was raised, in 1913, the year of the reunion of Crete with Greece. Today, at the entrance of the Fortress is situated the Maritime Museum.
