Very local, very small, very good. It is literally a mom-and-pop bakery (no joke; mom runs the register, pop is in the back baking) that has been in the neighborhood for ages. They are moving across the street to a new building and I can't wait to see it when it opens!
Why you should visit it
You would walk right past this place if you didn't know it was there, but you can smell it from a block over. They make fresh Mexican pastries every day and piping hot Mexican coffee (just try it). Grab a tray and a pair of tongs and pick anything and everything that looks good! The prices are cheap and the quality is amazing. A true hidden gem!
Special tip
The ginger pigs are AMAZING. I bring them for office birthdays and I've been told I'm not allowed to leave my company because people love them so much
