This is where many of the most famous comedians had their start. Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, and Amy Poehler, just to name a few. Chicago is also the birthplace of modern improv comedy. You'll have great laughs, enjoy drinks, and get involved with the show if you're seeing an improve show. Definitely a must visit.

For groceries you can find fresh produce, meats, fish, bread, and cheese. There is a nice selection for breakfast with a couple cafes as well as a good crepe restaurant with sweet and savory crepes. The savory crepes kind of look like a burrito. And sushi, soups, grilled food, and many more!

You should go for the great view of the river and great wine. The Riverwalk has been newly renovated so it still has the "new and shinny" feel. You can come here for a meal or just for drinks. I would recommend going early-ish to be the crowd since the place has become very popular

You should do the tour because you will be able to easily see a lot of the city in 72 minutes. The Chicago River has recently become revived and is very active! The city had once forgotten the beauty of the river but has now added parks and cafes along the river.

It's the best brewery tour you can find. Once a week: 11am every Saturday, they give a full showing. It's limited so plan to be in line. 2hr tour that goes into everything: brewing, ingredients, buying, building, and the business itself. Other tours may show you what they do. Half Acre will tell you how to do it yourself. 3-4 full pint samples too.

She’s probably fully booked but worth the shot if you are in town for a glitzy event, a date or any reason there is to feel tantalizing. (One doesn’t need a reason) she’s located centrally and her boutique is lovely and intimate. It feels like a personal experience. But the best part outside of the lashes is Xiya. A down to earth awesome person

30 plays in 60 minutes, all true and all written by the performers in the show. Every week the actors roll two 6-sided die to determine how many plays they'll take out and how many brand new shows need to be written. The plays are performed in an order selected by the audience that evening. Random hilarity ensures.

An entirely "underground" experience. It takes place in a ballet studio on the north side of the city. The hosts are setting up as you settle in. When the party begins, the lights go out and the disco ball turns on! It's a very body positive experience and the women who run it let you know right out of the gate that the space is "no judgement."
