This neighborhood has been trendy for years and it just needs one more place to make it the cherry on top. Chicagoans don't know it but they should pride themselves for really good ramen cities in North America. Oiistar is one of the best and unlike my other favorite ramen places this exudes a romantic ambience.

Why you should visit it
Whether you are in love with yourself or someone super fine this is a good dress up or dress down place that is off the beaten touristy path. Pretty people visit this place but it is just below pretentious to feel at home when their family ramen hits the spot and all you wanna do then is head home and snuggle.
Special tip
Oiimen ramen, pork belly, and sangria in their mason jar. I was undercover here during the visit but the Japanese chef at the back has such a smile
