Hi Lynn! I highly highly recommend Joy Yee Noodles. They have a massive menu of nearly every chinese/asian food you could ever want, and a giant array of bubble teas and specialty drinks. During the weekends and on Friday nights in the summer and spring it can get pretty busy, but it’s a fairly quick wait either way, and i’ve always been pleased with the service. The restaurant is slightly small but it makes for a more intimate dining experience. It’s very casual, so no need for anything overboard in terms of reservations or dressing.

MingHin has great dim sum and is Michelin recommended. Try Phoenix’s dim sum brunch on Sundays. Great FrenchKorean bakery Tous Les Jours as well!

I enjoy Chi Cafe and the food has always been excellent. It's a small, busy place in Chinatown square. I like Joy Yee for shakes and bubble teas.

If you want an "authentic" experience try Cai (go for the dim sum), Ming Hin (eel & green beans, fish with ginger, peapod tendrils) or ken kee (tofu, salt & pepper shrimp, fish with ginger- it's also pretty/ modern looking). If you want approachable/ Americanized check out Joy Yee and get a bubble drink- they have pages of flavors
