Lou Malnati's Pizza is the best. Several in Chicago and suburbs. Buttery rich crust and tight combination of cheese, tomato sauce and filling. Can get them frozen at O'Hare airport to take home.

Agreed that Pequod’s (carmelized crust) and Lou Malnati’s are local faves (probably my top two!) and great options for deep dish. Pizzeria Due is great too!

Giordano's, hands down, for the best Chicago, tourist-expected, deep-dish pizza. Peaquods and Lou Malnati's are local favorites who throw their own "spin" into their masterpieces, but if you're looking for the best all-around pizza for tourists that are typical deep-dish, you can't go wrong with Giordano's.

Not a fan of deep dish, but my ex loves Lou Malnatti's

Lou Malnati's or Art of Pizza.

Pequod's is good, but the crust is too bread-y.

Art of Pizza on Ashland (you can buy a whole pizza or just a slice), Pequods on Clybourn (they caramelize cheese on the outside of the crust)
