I love chilaquiles, and this restaurant is numero uno thus far. First of all, they always come out hot, not lukewarm. In addition, the green salsa is not bland -- it has the flavor of fresh chiles. Finally, it's garnished with fresh chopped onion which adds a lot to the flavor. It's not a small detail.
You should visit this place because the back patio is such a laidback, quiet, relaxing, and inviting place to enjoy delicious chilaquiles. Sometimes there's a wait, but it's never been more than around 10 minutes. The inside is fine but nothing special, and it can get crowded.
It's in Uptown on Clark about a mile south of Andersonville.
