Old Orhei Tour

If you want to discover Moldova's roots and culture, you should book this day trip to Old Orhei. It's an area of geological significance, rich culture, deep spirituality and history.

We will begin on public transport - taking a mini van bus for about an hour to our destination. Once we arrive we will visit the church on top of the hill, as well as the fascinating cave monastery. You will then have the chance to see the old cross monument which has become a place where people make wishes.

Once you've taken in the beautiful views, we will head down to the village to get a glimpse of local life. Your guide will explain the symbolism behind the design of the houses, as well as discuss customs and daily life. We'll visit a museum and then stop for some wine tasting and delicious Moldovan food.
