Why locals love it
The Claudius Therme lies on the so-called "other" Rhine side. A short walk across the Deutzer bridge and through the park along the Rhine and you're in a quiet oasis. One sauna comes with a spectacular cathedral view. The restaurant is good and priced in the frame, you can borrow towels ect. The mood is very calm.
Why you should visit it
I love sauna and have visited many spas in the world. That's why I'm so happy to visit this place in my hometown. Sophisticated, clean, quiet and with its own thermal water.
Special tip
Book a whole day or at least 4 hours. On the weekend and in the early evening it is a bit crowded. During the week during the day pleasantly empty
