This is what the locals are proud of, their stunning church. They even say the side of the river where the church stands is the "proper" Cologne and the opposite side, without the church is the wrong Cologne. Locals adore their church and many will just go there to enjoy the view, especially in the evening.

Why you should visit it
Because this is the symbol of Cologne. The interior is stunning and the tower gives you the most amazing view of the city if the weather is clear. Who wouldn't like to climb up loads of stairs (there is no elevator ;) ), but trust me it is well worth it.

Take your student card with you, there is a discount. Grab beer and go there in the evening, nothing's more pretty then the church all lit up.
