A couple of Swedes have opened this bar and bistro in the Latin Quater, where you can play pétanque and feel transported to Marseille. The staff all wear shirts with white and black stribes to give the place a certain French air, and though it's not the cheapest venue, it's a fun place to hang out with friends and play with "boules".
Boulebar has a great location on Nørregade, close to Nørreport Station, Torvehallerne, Rundetårn and Rosenborg Palace. Visit if you want to play pétanque and sip rosé or French cider. You can combine playing with a nice meal, and the atmosphere is relaxed and trendy.
The vibe is a bit kitsch, but the bistro food is quite good, and it's one of the best places for French cider.
