A burger-craze spread throughout the city a few years ago and burger joints appeared all over the town like never before, offering buns and meat from the "just above standard" to the "over the top gourmet experience" (read: bloody expensive). Of the many good burger bars that came out of it, Cocks & Cows is definitely one of the finest.

Why you should visit it
The place offers a limited choice of burgers, that do not divert much from the classic combo of meat, tomato, pickled cucumber, lettuce, onion and dressing. But as any burger-hunter knows, the devil is in the detail, and the food here really has both- the mouthwatering quality and stomach-ache quantity.

Often very busy and the service can seem a little cocky, but the waiters are quick and will bring your order in decent time.
