Culture Box is one of those places that rose to the occasion to fill a giant, clubbing-shaped hole in Copenhagen. Sure, electronic music was represented, but there were no dedicated dance clubs. The Box changed all that.

Why you should visit it
They were the first and are still the best. The place has three different rooms with four different bars and generally have the most ambitious and forward-thinking lineups. A collab with famed Berlin club Berghain has resulted in some out-of-this-world parties in the basement. Come early for the drinks specials.
Special tip
Come for the music, stay for the music. White Box opens early and has free entrance. Then you can decide to move on to the main rooms.
