The Royal Library Garden is a lovely little park where locals relax in spring and summer. A quiet spot not far from the more hectic city center where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on a sunny day. Easily combined with a visit to Christiansborg, The Royal Library or The Jewish Museum next door.
This is one of the best spots to take a break for city crowds and traffic noise. Take a stroll and enjoy birds singing, settle down on a bench with a book or pay a visit to the nearby Jewish Museum and Black Diamond. The garden used to be the harbour for the royal navy, but now it's an idyllic - and protected - public park.
Famous Danish philosopher Søren Kirkegaard has his own statue in the garden.
