Why locals love it
The lakes separate the outer districts from the inner city, and one enjoyable place to people watch is the gate to Nørrebro, Dronning Louises Bro. In summer, the small park areas are packed from dawn 'till dusk and beyond with people drinking, smoking, talking and generally chilling out. It's a summer thing.
Why you should visit it
Except when it's not - a safe bet for New Year's is going here, there's always tons of action. So grab some beers from the kiosk and hunker down - you never know what might happen or who you might meet for a night out in Nørrebros dive bars.
