Why locals love it
Freddy's Bar is not necessarily the place you'll feel welcome, especially not if you don't speak a word of Danish, but for getting down with the locals, accept nothing else. This is a 50+ establishment, but it's good and cheap and although they'll likely glare a bit, the staff and customers are friendly enough.
Why you should visit it
The best of a dying breed, Gasværksvej used to have tons of dive bars - now Freddy's is almost the last one. Go there while you can, before they gentrify the soul out of that place, as has happened on the corner next to it. Usually open from early morning.
