Why locals love it
Hipper-than-thou Jolene started out in Nørrebro, but managed to make themselves extremely unpopular with their neighbours already with their opening bash. Basically, the house-warming became the house-cooling as well. So a new location was found, and Jolene's been going at it in Kødbyen, Copenhagens Meat Packing District ever since.

Why you should visit it
Jolene has that perfect mix between bar and cafe, club and chill out that many attempt, but often fail. So there's that. It can be a bit hit-or-miss, as other events might lure the regulars away, but most nights you're guaranteed a lovely night. People are talkative and drinks generally OK by local standards.
Special tip
Set yourself in easy mode and take whatever they throw at you: Sometimes concerts, sometimes disco nights, sometimes just chilling and relaxing.
