Vietnamese food hit Copenhagen hard over the last couple of years, and it can all be traced back to the phenomenal success of LêLê nhà hàng. Combining a French bistro feel with great cocktails and wonderful Vietnamese street food was a winning combo.
LêLê nhà hàng has become an institution, spawning a number of copycats, but it's still ahead of the pack. They make wonderful spring rolls and noodle soups, as well as a few experiments. You can book ahead, but to preserve the bistro feel, a large part of the restaurant is reserved for people who just show up.
If you want to try their skills for cheap(er), a few blocks down the road in number 56, they have a takeaway and grill as well.
