This non-profit restaurant is the first of its kind in Denmark. The volunteer staff gather donated produce that the food industry would otherwise waste, and use it to conjure up healthy, tasty and affordable meals. Unsurprisingly, the menu changes daily depending on available ingredients.

Sound risky? Well actually, it's just common sense. The produce is fresh and is simply surplus or discarded for aesthetic reasons such as shape, so support this fantastic idea by going along and munching on a crooked cucumber.
Doggy bags are available if you can't eat all your food and you're welcome to ask for more (at no extra charge) if you can.
