The building is an architectural collision of old and new, with a recent glass and steel addition blending beautifully with the original classical pile. From Rubens and Rembrandt to Munch and Matisse, this place has works from many of the heavyweights of the art world.
After your visit, relax in the beautiful Østre Anlæg park at the back of the museum.
