Why locals love it

Stengade is something of a Nørrebro institution. Bad management led it to be shut down, and now the place has been resurrected as an activist-run collective. Having recently celebrated their 3-year anniversary, Stengade is trucking on as if nothing happened.

Why you should visit it

This is a great venue for up-and-coming local acts, as well as decent ones from elsewhere. The music selection is nicely mixed, so expect the unexpected. They've recently re-opened the upstairs bar, which should mean even more music.
