I am not fond of Strøget since it's always full of tourists, lack of local atmosphere, and too mainstream. But this cute little café in a very center of Strøget is definitely worth a visit for quick coffee/tea, cake, or lunch with relax atmosphere a bit far from the crowd & extraordinary experience.

Why you should visit it
Royal Smushi Café combines Danish food and Danish design. You are invited to enter the hall with chandeliers and to have a seat by the royal tables in the Ant chair designed by Arne Jacobsen. Your lunch, cake, or coffee is served on Royal Copenhagen porcelain, and you are given George Jensen cutlery.
Special tip
Try the authentic Danish open-faced sandwiches, ‘smørrebrød’, with the size of sushi!
