Description

Want to understand Danish culture, get the best insider tips, and learn about the history of one of the happiest places in the world? If so, join my tour for a real introduction to Copenhagen and the Danes.

During the tour we’ll stroll past the beautiful Rosenborg Castle and the beloved King's Garden, visit the home of the Danish Royal family and see the world-famous Little Mermaid statue.

A picturesque walk along Copenhagen Harbour will take us past Nyhavn, once the notorious red light district of the city. Nowadays it’s a cosy neighbourhood full of colorful houses, adored by travellers and locals alike.

We’ll then pass the Royal Theatre, and walk past the iconic Stock Exchange and the Danish Parliament building made famous in an iconic TV series.

The tour will end at Copenhagen City Hall, right next to the lovely Tivoli Gardens. After the tour you can choose to visit Tivoli, get a coffee or a bite to eat in the many cafés nearby.

During the tour you’ll learn about the city's history, about kings and queens, Hans Christian Andersen, and how the Danes evolved from being blood-thirsty Vikings to some of the happiest and most peaceful people in the world.
