After meeting your tour leader, get walking to the temple. Situated near “Connaught place” in the heart of city, this temple belongs to “Sikhhism” faith of worship. A water tank inside is revered as having healing properties and is taken by Sikhs throughout the world back to their homes.
The Gurdwara and its Sarovar are now a place of great reverence for Sikhs, and a place for the special congregation on the birth anniversary of Guru Har Krishan. The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large (holy) pond, a school and an art gallery.
Proceed to visit Old Delhi which is famous for its orthodox culture and unique cuisine. Meet tour leader just outside Red Fort OR at “Chandni Chowk” Metro station & walk towards the ancient Jain temple, also walk past a prominent Hindu Temple. Soon you will reach “Favvara” (Fountain square) a spot where “Sikkh” Gurus martyred for saving oppressed people from tyrant kings.
Also opposite to this spot is a famous “Sikkh” temple. Soon disappear into a maze of alley and crowd for ex, into “Parantha wali gali” (breadmakers alley) and emerge out of the crowds of shoppers and enter into “Nai Sarak” (new road for the believers). Tour ends.
