Lotus Temple, a Baha'i house of worship was completed in 1986. It serves as the mother temple for the Baha'i faith of Indian subcontinent and has become a prominent attraction in Delhi. Have a lunch break (own expense), & later visit Laxminarayan Temple, a Hindu temple that is dedicated to Vishnu with his consort Lakshmi. The temple was completed in 1939 & was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi -.
