Lannie Garrett, singer and seductress, is a local hero. Nowadays, she focuses her theatrical flair on the fanciful club in the basement of the clocktower punctuating central Denver. The matriarch herself performs here, sometimes with a brass band or the Gypsy Swing Revue, and also hosts a variety of burlesque, magical, comedic and musical talent.
Why you should visit it
With shows most Wednesday through Saturday nights, the velvet-strewn, suggestively shadowy club can serve as an ideal date night, anniversary celebration or bachelor party venue depending on the nature of that evening's entertainment.
Special tip
The late night Saturday burlesque show (among the most raunchy of Lannie's bookings) often sells out, so reserving in advance online is recommended.
