Perched on a hill in the highlands is the former Olinger mortuary. These days the building doesn't see much death- unless you count the rich cuts of Wagyu beef and Tender Belly pork that routinely pass through the kitchen. In fact, the place is positively buzzing with lively patrons savouring the menu of gourmet global street food and cocktails.
The concept of 'global street food' means you can sample a worldly array of delicacies without breaking the bank (especially during happy hour). The cocktails are just as diverse, and the beer menu offers local brews. As a former mortuary there's a quirky macabre appeal, though the comprehensive renovation created a very chic space.
The rooftop terrace provides one of the best views of downtown Denver. Definitely grab a seat up there if the weather permits.
