Now with four locations, Park Burger is a homegrown franchise that rightfully gained its popularity from the quality of the food. The original was opened by Jean-Philippe Failyau, once the right-hand man of Denver's chef extrodinaire Frank Bannano, who applied the sophisticated sensibilities of his epicurean mentor to this staple of Americana.
Why you should visit it
Finally, a place to go when you crave a perfectly grilled patty of top-shelf meat, but also have to accomodate pescetarians and vegetarians. Park Burger offers an outstanding ahi tuna burger, and a veggie burger awarded as Denver's best. That said, the menu is well curated so as not to overwhelm. The same is true of the selection of craft beers.
Special tip
The buffalo burger or El Mariachi, with roasted green chilis, are emblematic of the Wild West. Check their website to find the other locations.
