From humble beginnings here in Denver, Snooze, a breakfast, brunch and lunch joint serving up clever riffs on classic plates, creative gourmet pancakes and inventive cocktails has expanded to open locations across the metro region as well as in Arizona, California and soon Texas.
The retro dining room attracts a cooler-than-though possy of clubbers and huge weekend crowds, but the wait is worthwhile as the food is truly tasty and on some accounts really original (chile verde benedict or sweet potato pancakes, anyone?) Also noteworthy are the restaurant's philanthrophic donations and environmental sustainability initiatives.
No reservations accepted, so don't come in a hurry and be prepared to wait. There are two other Denver locations at Union Station and Colorado Blvd.
