Sputnik is located next door to the Hi-dive, perhaps Denver's greatest rock club, and as such is frequented by touring bands and their associates. The menu follow san international theme, is reasonably priced and tasty, and the atmosphere is friendly if extremely hip, making this a great spot to prepare for a show or catch up afterward.
Why you should visit it
Both a long afternoon happy hour (3-7pm) and a late night happy hour (11pm-1am) offer bargains on drinks and small bites diverse enough to satisfy carnivores and vegans. An awesome hangover-curing brunch is served until 3pm; think breakfast burritos, breakfast tacos and booze-sopping scrambles served alongside discounted Bloody Marys and mimosas.
Special tip
Without guages or a neck tat you may not blend with the aggresively hip clintele, but will be welcome all the same. Fitting in is out of style anyway.
