Why locals love it
Westrand is the cultural centre of Dilbeek. It is both interesting for what's inside as for the building itself. The architect is Alfons Hoppenbrouwers (1930-2001) and the Westrand was build between September 1969 and October 1973. Now the Westrand houses exhibitions, the library, the theatre and has rooms that can be rented for meetings.
Why you should visit it
It is a really nice piece of architecture and it holds nice exhibitions.
