Bastible

Why locals love it

With rents rising in Dublin again there has been a noticeable trend of exciting new restaurants choosing 'less desirable' locations. Opening in the inner suburbs has proved a successful option bringing the restaurants to where the people are living.

Why you should visit it

A bastible is an old Irish cooking pot and the ethos of the kitchen here very much mixes the traditional with the modern. Fresh clean presentation with interesting flavor and textural combinations are offered in every course. The menu changes all the time to reflect what is in season.

Special tip

There is a set menu, limited to 3 or 4 options per course and if may not have something to suit the fussier eater.
