Worth going for the interior

Cafe en Seine

Why locals love it

Cafe en Seine in its current guise burst onto the Dublin scene during the Celtic Tiger years and upwardly mobile hip young things flocked to it in droves. Its luxuriously clad interiors were a reflection of the good times being felt all around and the prices of the drinks matched the levels of spare cash people seemed to have.

Why you should visit it

Despite the downturn Cafe en Seine is still going strong. It attracts a crowd most nights and has decent music with room for dancing and plenty of seating for those who aren't quite ready to strut their stuff on the dance floor. Food is served throughout the day.

Special tip

Brunch is served every Sunday from noon to 5 pm accompanied by live jazz music
