Genuine local pub

Why locals love it

This is a great spot for meeting friends for a few drinks. In winter time there is an open fire in the upstairs bar. The walls lean in all directions and the floors aren't exactly flat but this place isn't about to fall down. The upstairs ladies toilets with their powder room including a chaise lounge are fairly unique in Dublin.

Why you should visit it

This is about as Dublin a pub as you'll find, it's a far cry from the likes you'll find in Temple Bar. This is the real thing - no shamrocks or Irish dancing required. Patrons will tell you that the Guinness served here is some of the best in Dublin

Special tip

If you get there early in the evening you can occupy one of the snugs and keep the private area all to yourself for the night should you wish
