Why locals love it

A very welcome addition to the Temple Bar area is this seafood shack style casual restaurant. Ideal for a quick, tasty lunch rather than lingering over a longer meal. They sell whatever was caught fresh that day and always have their super chowder that comes served in a tin pot.

Why you should visit it

It is head and shoulders above some many of the nearby food offerings this tourist heavy part of the city has to offer. Check out their selection of different oysters and treat yourself to a glass of wine or something sparkling to accompany you meal.

Special tip

At busy times be prepared to queue but it is worth the wait

Yesterday my boyfriend and I had a lunch there. We ordered the oysters, the smoked salmon, the Dublin bay prawns and the baby kale salad. Coming from Greece we know how to appreciate fresh seafood and this one was just amazing!

Fresh, delicious flavours. The grilled prawns are unbelievable and get the torched oyster yum. It is my favourite place to eat seafood in Dublin. They do happy hour on oysters too between 5-6 o clock! Its quite a funky little spot with friendly staff.
