Why you should visit it
Quirky is good and here you get plenty of quirk for you buck! Menus come in old books, the bill comes in a maths set with a few sweets thrown in. The cutlery used to be all vintage but customers kept taking souvenirs so they had to run an amnesty to try and get it back. Now there is less vintage cutlery but that does not detract from the charm.
Special tip
If you are nearby on a weekend drop in as they are open as an actual grocer - pick up some bacon jam or retro sweets.
