Dublin is ringed by the Royal (north) and Grand (south) canals both of which are now little used and often almost forgotten about. The Grand Canal, at least in the city center, is the prettier of the two. A dinner cruise is a lovely way to see Dublin from a different perspective and at a slower pace than usual.
This is a very relaxing way to spend an evening wining and dining. You'll pass through several locks and under some beautiful bridges during your cruise and may even encounter some of the local wildlife. The food on board is very good especially considering the limited kitchen space - much of the prep is done shore side in a full kitchen.
Arrive early and enjoy a drink on the open upper deck as you cruise along the canal just mind your head on the low bridges!
