Why locals love it?

Magill's, as you will be able to tell from the somewhat shabby exterior, has been open a long time and has been selling delicatessen goods to Dubliners long before cured meats, salamis and exotic cheeses were fashionable.

Why you should visit it

Entering the shop is like a small step back in time but it is a foodies treasure trove of herd to find ingredients and locally produced goods like smoked salmon and fresh breads. It is next to impossible to leave without buying something to savour later
