One of a number of gyms and leisure centers run by Dublin City Council the Markievicz has a great city center location. There are a variety of classes held throughout the day starting at 7 am . There is also a 25 meter swimming pool and weights area. Changing rooms and showers etc are basic but clean.

Why you should visit it
If you don't want to let your fitness level drop on your holidays this gym is a good option as it offers pay you go entry as well as 10 swim/class passes and longer memberships. There is a sauna in the pool area and lockers available but bring your own lock!
Special tip
The classes can fill up fast so its best to get there a bit early to ensure your spot.
